Project Manager

Hours: 40+

Salary: Dependant on Experience

SUMMARY

Tremorfa are a leading mechanical and electrically company and offer diverse solutions for a variety of services including; Fire Detection & Alarms, Electronic & Physical Security, Gates & Barriers and Facilities Management. Tremorfa have an exciting new vacancy for a Project Manager to join our growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Taking the Project from the estimating team via a project hand over
  • Review of the Scope, be actively involved in the production of presentation documents where required.
  • Better buying of all packages, in line with company policy
  • Issuing technical submittals of all Equipment / Packages
  • Issue all programmes pre construction
  • Manage overall project delivery from inception to practical completion
  • Quality control including production of project quality plans
  • Sub-Contractor management
  • Responsibility of managing contract variations/compensation event
  • Commissioning and handover
  • To provide status reports to the Directors on all projects they are responsible for via Monthly/Weekly project and meetings and progress report issue.
  • To work with and maintain the existing company project processes.
  • To develop and maintain due regard for safe working practices on site and report any breaches of Health and Safety to the Health and Safety Officer and responsible site person
  • To work closely to the Client to ensure all work is carried out correctly and within the allocated time.
  • To maintain all required project documentation.
  • Conduct a post contract project review meeting to obtain feedback from all involved and produce a project ‘close out’ report detailing strengths, weaknesses and areas for improvement
  • To observe and abide by the Company’s Health and Safety polices.

Essential

  • NVQ Level 3 or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or Qualified Electrician with relevant industry qualifications
  • SMSTS or similar
  • Experience of project management

SUMMARY

Tremorfa are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our busy Cardiff based electrical contracting department.

The ideal candidate will be flexible and reliable, can to work to and achieve set targets, be a strong team player who is able to motivate others and have excellent punctuality.

ESSENTIAL:

• City & Guilds 17th Edition Wiring Regulations 2382-15

• Level 3 Technical Certificate Relevant relevantto the NVQ either as part of the NVQ Diploma or approved equivalent.

• Willing to take part in an Out of Hours rota

• Submission of relevant paperwork in a timely manner

• Keeping organized stock levels in vehicle to avoid unwanted return visits

• Proven Experience in Providing Quality Workmanship

• Smart and clean appearance

• Ability to work alone or as part of a team

• Commitment to delivering high quality customer service

• Full driving license

 

MUST BE ABLE TO:

• Be security and CRB checked

• Have a 5 year employment history

• Work at height from ladders and scaffolding

• Identify colours

• Flexible working hours

• Work in confined spaces (loft space,attics & lift shafts

• Lift heavy objects (batteries, ladders and scaffolding )

• Work in all weather conditions indoorsand outdoors

• Occasional travelling of long distances,and occasional overnight stays

• Happy to use lone worker technology throughout the working day

Fire & Security Maintenance Engineer

Hours: 40

Salary: Dependant on Experience

SUMMARY

To provide effective support to the business by way of inspecting  and testing of:

  • Addressable and conventional Fire Alarm Systems
  • Emergency lighting systems including battery systems
  • Intruder alarm systems
  • Access control
  • CCTV
  • Remote signaling systems such as Redcare & Dualcom
  • Taking part in an out of hours on call rota

 

ESSENTIAL

  • Proven technical background with a good knowledge of above systems
  • Taking part in an out of hours on call rota
  • Familiar with the British standards relating to the above
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technology
  • Ability to manage and plan maintenance visits within their scheduled time
  • Attend and repair emergency callouts as required
  • Submission of relevant paperwork in a timely manner
  • Keeping organized stock levels in vehicle to avoid unwanted return visits
  • Smart and clean appearance
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Commitment to delivering high quality customer service
  • Clean full driving license

 

PREFERABLE

  • An understanding of Nurse call/ warden call systems would be of benefit
  • 17th edition of the IEE wiring regulations

Security Engineer - Installation

Hours: 40+

Salary: £40,000+ Dependant on Experience

Location: Cardiff Based with weekly National Travel

SUMMARY

To provide effective support to the business by way of installation & Commissioning of the following systems;

  • Intruder Alarm Systems
  • Access Control
  • CCTV
  • Remote Signalling Systems such as Dualcom

Please Note – Experience in the Electronic Security industry is required for this role.

ESSENTIAL

  • Proven technical background with a good knowledge of Intruder Alarm systems, CCTV and Access Control Systems and Remote Signalling systems such as Dualcom
  • Familiar with British Standards relating to the above including PD662:2010, BS8243, BSEN50132
  • Smart Clean Appearance
  • Commitment to delivering high quality customer service
  • Ability to organise workload from pre-issued planner to maximise efficiency and cost control
  • Ability to work as an individual or as part of a team
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Full Driving License
  • Good understanding of DVR’s and their capabilities

PREFERABLE:
